Those plans may affect theurban quality of life and humanizing city goals. If those goals are not achieved, development became inadequate and powerless. Road networks are one of the most important elements of urban development. Recently the Egyptian government is redeveloping road networks to accommodate the movement of vehicles to and from Cairo. However, those development plans generated some negative consequences for the different areas of Cairo, particularly the humanitarian and social aspects and their respective benefits on the urban quality of life and the humanizing city. From this standpoint this research is concerned with presenting the concept of urban quality of life and humanizing cities. Attention to this concept came after it became clear that the road networks development plans were not be serve man in the first place, but were designed to serve car, instead. The research had reached the elements of the human city and mentioned some examples in this context of many countries. A field study was conducted with two urban areas which experienced applying new road network in Cairo, this could help to plan and implement road networks in a way that provides for human needs and helps to increase user's satisfaction.
