Manipur, a small state which lies in the North-Eastern part of India is now a part of this largest democracy. The once princely independent State is now under the regime of National political Parties. Geographically, being in a frontier does implicate an idea of whether the national party could foresee the local issues and conditions of the state. There is a mandate for inquiry if the roles and ideologies of the national parties are relevant to that of the cultures and traditions of the state. The project highlights whether there is a need for the so- called regional parties of the state and whether the nation-building process could lead even in the frontier.</p&gt;}, number={1}, journal={Design Engineering}, author={Dr. Km.
