It is critical to the economy’s growth. As with other sectors, the banking sector is responsible for environmental protection. To meet this obligation, the banking industry has embraced the concept of green banking. Going green has become a global banking industry trend. Green banking has compelled financial institutions to deliver paperless, technology-enabled services while minimising environmental effect and fulfilling their corporate citizenship responsibilities for sustainable development. Green banking is a term that refers to banking operations that are handled in such a way that they contribute to the total reduction of external carbon emissions and internal carbon footprint. The study’s primary objective is to examine the relationship between various green banking practises and demographic characteristics such as age, gender, occupation, educational attainment, sources of income, monthly income, and marital status. Mobile banking, internet banking/net banking, and telephone banking are all examples of green banking practises. According to the study’s findings, banks should take the initiative to develop various applications such as kiosk machines, simple applications for educated people, and cost-free transactions for low-income individuals in order to promote green banking.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Design Engineering}, author={Mrs. Jeena Raju, Dr. V.
