Abstract

A kind of new coupled shear walls with internal dislocated steel plates was proposed. In order to research the deformation characteristics and the effect of different columns on the dynamic characteristics of shear walls, three kinds of shear walls including concrete-filled square steel tubular column, round steel concrete column and steel reinforced concrete composite column were designed, meanwhile the dislocated steel plates with stagger arrangement were embedded in the wall and the coupling beam. Three specimens were carried out shaking table test. The acceleration response, displacement response, self-vibration frequency were analyzed comparatively. The damage analysis of internal dislocated steel plates in the coupling beam and wall limb was detected. The test results show that the shear walls with internal dislocated steel plates and frame columns behave good anti collapse performance and can keep good integrity under the super rare earthquake.
