The review paper on fluidized bed drying serves as an aggregate of insights and findings presented throughout, drawing conclusions about their implications across multiple industries and highlighting the potential and advantages of fluidized bed drying techniques. Fluidized bed drying offers substantial advantages and benefits to enterprises, particularly pharmaceuticals and food processing. Fluidized bed drying is an integral component in improving drug delivery systems, protecting delicate compounds, and meeting regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry. Food industry implications include optimizing the drying of dried food products such as dried fruits and powders with increased energy efficiency and decreased waste while prioritizing sustainability and reduced environmental impact as crucialindustry priorities. Fluidized bed dryers have become increasingly popular in various fields, including chemical processing, agriculture, materials handling and more. Fluidized bed dryers boast enhanced agglomeration/coating capabilities with precise temperature control that provides high heat transfer rates and real-time monitoring capabilities that ensure process optimization and quality assurance. This review emphasizes the necessity of process optimization, control, and product quality assurance to drive innovation in fluidized bed drying technology. Research findings and advancements reveal its full potential by paying close attention to details in the design, operation, and control of fluidized bed dryers.
