Abstract

This research aims to optimize the availability of water and water demand after the existence of the Passelloreng Dam reservoir using Solver which is a linear program found in Microsoft Excel. The stages of this research consisted of climatological analysis to determine the amount of evaporation, analyzing water availability using the F.J. Mock and the next stage is to analyze the needs of irrigation water and raw water. The results of several water requirements for the Passelloreng Dam are optimized with the Solver linear program to obtain the maximum land area and maximum profit from one cropping pattern. From several alternative cropping pattern simulations, the largest increase after the reservoir was built, namely at the beginning of the May II planting season with a planting intensity of 300% to 352.53% after the reservoir was built, with a profit of IDR 473,050,008,85.66. This advantage has taken into account the raw water requirement for 6 districts for one year of 1.44 m3/second.
