Abstract

Sustainable architecture has become a necessity, not an option. Due to the challenges facing the environment, such as global warming, the increase in carbon, and the lack of non-renewable energy. Strategies for sustainable architecture work to reduce energy consumption and use recycled materials to reduce landfills and reduce pollution and carbon emissions. These strategies need capabilities Financial and technological support for the implementation of recycling raw materials and renewable energy utilization, as well as trained workers on these technologies, which are obstacles and not available in developing countries. When trying to import these technologies increases the initial economic costs of sustainable buildings. This makes thinking about traditional buildings more suitable for those countries as a result of prior knowledge of costs and manpower trained on traditional buildings. which makes it difficult to apply sustainable architecture as a general approach. not an iconic building in those countries. This paper is looking at The main obstacles facing the application of the sustainable architecture approach in developing countries. and What are the causes of sustainable architecture approaches in technologically developed countries? and the development strategies through which sustainable architecture can become a general approach in developing countries.
