Enhancement of Transmission Methods for MIMO-OFDM by Utilizing Adaptive Techniques

Abstract

MIMO-OFDM engaged with error correction codes are the most commonly used and adapted approaches for information transmission. Adaptive Modulation and coding (AMC) offer reliable high data rate communication. In this paper adaptive approaches such as: Power Allocation (APA), Bit Loading (ABL), and Low-Density Party Check (ALDPC) code are investigated. Group Bit and Power Allocation (BPA) are presented in order to divided the OFDM channel into several sub-channels. Simulation results show that the adaptive schemes were integrated with MIMO-OFDM system achieve excellent throughput and error rate performance.
