Multi-Objective Optimization of Gas Pipeline Networks by Fuzzy Approach

Abstract

This paper main goal is to develop a model of multi objective optimization for high pressure transmission networks systems using fuzzy approach technique. The proposed algorithm searched the optimum operating conditions of compressor to ensure achieving three functions line pack (gas capacity) maximization, minimization compressor power and fuel consumption. The results supported the multi objective optimization solution benefit greater than the scalar solution, it allowed to much cheaper gas transmission networks management without affecting the gas security and customers demand.
