Big Data based Healthcare Systems: A Review

Abstract

Recent years have seen a significant increase in the data volumenarity, which has led to the emergence of Big Data. Therefore, it has become impossible to dispense with the term big data in dealing with many applications; one of these applications is the healthcare system.The healthcare system generates a vast amount of data that premise around drugs, diseases, cures, and researches are all terms that are used to describe diseases, and many more to help both doctors and patients and even decision-makers to build a better life for humanity. Here we review the concept of Big Data with its characteristics, types and then focus on one application that uses big data which is the healthcare system.
