A Study on the Level of Self-Actualization of Arts and Science

Self-actualization is a significant psychological aspects influencing in the life of a student. Self-actualization refers to realize one’s capabilities and potentialities for attaining the highest desired or goal in life. The main purpose of this study was to compare the level of self-actualization among the Post-Graduate students of Arts and Science. Descriptive survey method was used for the present study.  The sample was consisted of 160 PG students. Among them Arts and Science students were equally divided into 80. The level of self-actualization was measured by the Self-Actualization Scale by Hardeo Ojha. The investigator was used Mean, Standard Deviation, Percentage and t-test was used for finding the difference between Arts and Science streams. It was found from the present study that there was a significant difference between the level of self-actualization of Arts and Science students.
