ANN based PIDF Controller for Controlling the Load Frequency in a Multi-Stage AC Micro Grid
This project proposes an ANN with PIDF controller to control the load frequency which is used to improve the dynamic response of the system. The load frequency control system is modelled and simulated using the MATLABSIMULINK environment, and the control parameters are adjusted according to the ANN algorithm. The main goal is to tune the PIDF controller using the ANN algorithm to achieve a stable, reliable and controllable system. The power system was subjected to load disturbances to test the performance of the proposed ANN optimized PIDF controller. The proposed approach has excellent characteristics such as ease of implementation, stable convergence characteristics and very good computational efficiency.
