A Survey on user Authentication Techniques for Secure Identity Management in Cloud Computing

Abstract

Identity Management is an emerging area as the innovations are done in different fields of cloud computing. Identity Management is the process of managing the credentials of the resource which is using any service. Dealing with the security of resource credentials is the major concern in Cloud Computing. This paper has covered the features of cloud computing along with various authentication mechanisms used for identity management if not delt properly may breach the security of cloud computing.There is a need to design the Identity Management Technique by combining two or more authentication methods to make it more secure and protect the user credentials.
