Study on College Students' Oral English Ability Evaluation Based on Structural Equation Model

Abstract

At the present stage of higher education, the problems existing in the college students' oral English have been exposed gradually and the teachers' evaluation system of oral English is not enough scientific and perfect which leads to static progress, ultimate evaluation mode and conflict criteria during the process of college students' English evaluation. This article will briefly analyse the basic connotation and the main algorithm of structural equation model, and discusses the present situation of college students' oral English ability, mainly includes the lack of oral English skills, the ability in solving the problem of English and poor self-learning consciousness. Evaluation strategy based on the above analysis of college students' oral English ability is mainly to put emphasis on dynamic assessment, authenticity and diversity of oral English, aiming at the thorough analysis of the problem and solution strategy in college students' oral English evaluation.
