Abstract

Tourists may get tourism information on blogs, forums, and websites of tourist attractions, among other places. However, since there is currently a lack of attention on the application of recommender technology in the tourist industry, information overflow might develop on the internet. Tourists must be able to access tour information in a timely way if their scheduled trip is altered. The ability to give tourist information based on the user's choices and current location is critical for the recommendation system to work; it must be able to provide tour information based on the user's preferences and current location. During the trip, there is also a growing desire for additional information about local area attractions such as local cuisine, shopping, points of interest, and so on. The purpose of this study is to offer an appropriate recommendation mechanism for usage in a Tourist Attraction Recommendation System in order to deliver individualised tourist information to its consumers.
