Abstract

this study, the Aluminum hybrid composites are  developed by Powder metallurgy route and pure Aluminum reinforced with mustard husk ash in different  weight percentages.  The pure aluminum powder mixed with 4 weight percentages of Mustard husk ash (MHA) 0, 1.5%, 3%, 4.5%, 6% is mill at 300 rpm for180 minute. The powder hybrid composites are compacted at 500MPa and sintered at tube furnace at 500 0C for 45 minutes under inert environment. The morphological study of hybrid compositesdone by SEM, XRD and EDS.When increase the weight % of MHA the density of the fabricated composites decrease. It was found that up to 6% weight percentage of MHA have better tribological and mechanical properties
