Spatial Differentiation and Protection Strategy of Cultural Heritage Landscape in Jiangsu Province

Abstract

Jiangsu Province has rich national key cultural relics protection units, and these national key cultural relics protection units as the core have constructed the precious cultural heritage landscape. In this paper, the geographical coordinates of the national key cultural relics protection units in Jiangsu Province are selected, and the spatial analysis is carried out by using Arc GIS software to deduce the spatial differentiation characteristics of cultural heritage landscape in Jiangsu Province, and on this basis, the corresponding protection strategies are proposed. Through the study, we can see that the distribution of cultural heritage landscape in Jiangsu Province is not uniform, showing a distribution pattern of more in the South and less in the north. Moreover, Nanjing and Suzhou occupy the core position in the construction of cultural heritage landscape belt in Jiangsu Province, and lead some surrounding cities to form the aggregation effect of cultural heritage landscape, which is conducive to the regional protection and overall development of cultural heritage landscape. However, the cultural heritage landscape in the north of Jiangsu Province is relatively scattered, so we should continue to tap the local historical and cultural resources, and strive to form a certain overall scale. In the development, we should avoid the duplication of construction and waste of resources with the southern part of Jiangsu Province.
