Abstract

An assessment into the soil qualities of the Surajpur District at Sarguja division of Chhattisgarh, Indiawas conducted. The primary goal of this research is to gather data on soil pH, electrical conductivity, organic carbon, and trace elements N, P, K, Zn, S, B, Fe, Mn, and Cu. With help of the research, we discovered that pH value ranged from 6.93 to 5.67. It has a somewhat acidic pH. The EC value is typical and ranges from 0.72 to 0.34. The percentage of OC detected ranged from 0.52 percent to 0.36 percent, which is a low - to - medium amount. The accessible nitrogen (kg ha-1) value discovered ranged from 250 to 188 kg ha-1, which is a low amount. The accessible phosphorus (kg ha-1) value ranged from 14.3 kg ha-1 to 1.4 kg ha-1, which is a low amount. The available sulphur (ppm) value ranged from 29.05 ppm to 18.2 ppm, which is considered low to medium. Available zinc (ppm) levels ranged from 0.68 ppm to 0.33 ppm, indicating a medium to moderate level.
