Applications of Wavelet Multi-Threshold in Vibration Signal De-Noising

Abstract

For the problem of more white noise interference in transformer vibration detection, this paper applies wavelet multi-threshold to vibration signal de-noising. This method performs multi-scale detailed analysis of vibration signals, selects appropriate thresholds at different scales to process wavelet coefficients, and simulates and analyzes typical vibration simulation signals. Simulation and measured data analysis show that the proposed de-noising method can effectively suppress the noise interference of the vibration signal and extract the effective vibration signal successfully. The denoising result decomstrates that the method performs better than the traditional threshold selection rule.
