Abstract

Improved-kriging model method is used to better the precision, optimize the error and reduce the sampling. Expected Feasibility Function (EFF) criterion is introduced to construct kriging model and to capture the sample points at the global scale. And so the best sample points is increased to update kriging model with less sample, combining with Hasofer-Lind (H-L) method to calculate the reliability index. In this paper, the reliability of a cantilever beam is analyzed by improved- kriging method, the results show it is high efficient with less sample, less time-consuming and less error than the classical kriging and MCS method.
