Optimization of the Formulation Design of Pomegranate Gallic Acid Gel

Abstract

Taking the content of pomegranate gallic acid as an index, the orthogonal design method was used to optimize the formulation design of pomegranate gallic acid gel. In this experiment, carbomer-940, propylene glycol and the pH of the gel were used as theevaluation factors, and the uniformity of gel gallic acid, appearance properties, spreading degree and centrifugal stability were used as evaluation indicators. The orthogonal analysis method selected the best The ratio is 1.5% carbomer-940, 10% propylene glycol, and the gel pH is controlled within the range of 4.5 to 5.5, and its various indicators are optimal. Therefore, the gelling agent optimized by orthogonal design has a simple process method, stable and reliable quality, and feasibility of production and application.
