Based on the Current Situation and Countermeasures of China's Competitive Sports Development

Abstract

The development level of competitive sports is related to various factors, which drives the development trend and development level of competitive sports, there are lots of expressions of competitive sports development level, from which the number of medals that one region obtains in national games is an important indicator to reflect the development level of the region’s competitive sports. The paper takes the number of medals that Chinese 31 provinces obtain in national games as research objects, explores spatial autocorrelations among regions with an aim to define regional characteristics of Chinese competitive sports development. The paper bases on the indicated result of Moran’ I index scatter diagram, gets that regional dependence of Chinese competitive sports development level is gradually strengthening and regions show polarization effect.
