Research on Vector Control Technology of Brushless Doubly-Fed Generator Running Independently

Abstract

This article introduces a novel control strategy of brushless doubly-fed generator (BDFIG) through the bidirectional back-to-back converter variable speed constant frequency independent running power generation system, based on the analysis of the mathematical model, USES the force, the power of the stator magnetic field orientation vector control strategy for run independently BDFIG system control objectives to establish the corresponding control stator excitation control model, are presented and discussed in detail the current loop complex vector proportional integral (CVPI) decoupling control strategy; A method for detecting the initial position of rotor based on phase-locked loop is proposed. This paper analyzes and compares the similarities and differences of the composition and control strategies of the grid-connected and independently-operated BDFIG systems. The experimental results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control strategies, and the system has excellent dynamic and static performance.
