Abstract

In the renewable energy resources the wind energy conversion system (WECS) play an effective role in the generation of power. For the generation of electric power, the WECS system undergoes into the conversion of kinetic energy from the wind into mechanical power further into the electrical power. In this research, the WECS systems is divided into the enhancement of pitch angle controller by using a bio-inspired metaheuristic algorithm instead of normal PI controller. To obtain the maximum power point the novel methodology of MPPT technique is used, to achieve the maximum power the DC- DC boost converter system is controlled by the AD-P&O MPPT technique. And the multilevel inverter system is integrated with the grid system, the PWM in the 5-level inverter is controlled by fuzzy logic controller (FLC) system. Further the inverter system is undergone for the FFT analysis to determine the stability and harmonics of the system. Finally, the grid power characteristics of the system are discussed.
