Abstract

All World is facing a pandemic situation from last two years. After the tremendous effort from all the authorities, no country is able to control the situation. ‘CORONA VIRUS’ is at its pick point.  Day to day activities are being complete standstill. With the news of ‘Times of  India’- ‘how the blind grapple with the world where is touch is out of bound’ , this research is motivated. At the public places’ like stations, buses, shops etc, peoples are not maintaining the social distance. Blind  individuals uses their senses to navigate , like from the sudden air block they can understand that crowded area  is nearby them. Touching the objects helped them to understand about the object, whether cloths, walls, food, railings etc. This lack of Social distance is also one of the spreading the virus. In this proposed research paper, the implementation of ‘Social Distance alert System from COVID infected patient for visually disable individuals is to reduce the risk of infection transformation at the public places to the blind peoples. The proposed system contains a set of IR sensors, LEDs and Alarm, etc. It will use a wrist band on which sensors will be placed. Sensors will be mutually exclusive and are connected to alarm through system. Based on the output of the sensors, Alarm will trigger and start alerting to maintain a social distance. So, by which peoples around the person having the smart System will also get alert and can take a step back.  Our proposed system is especially design for blind peoples but also it may help in dark night situation where visibility of normal human would not be working. We will design this system using Arduino UNO and this small light weight hardware can carry on hand with the wrist band like a watch which will be able to keep safe distance in the crowdie places and can prevent the infections. our model is simple and easily affordable. One of the best feature is no internet is required and easy to carry everywhere.
