Abstract

Constant Sinusoidal Current Control Strategy (SCCS) based simulation of UPQC in a PV-integrated grid system has been proposed in this paper to reduce harmonics and improve power quality (Unified Power Quality Conditioner). Harmonic distortion is a problem with classic controllers. The old system has a number of drawbacks, including high voltage rated control electronic equipment, a greater economic cost, and a lower compensatory output. PV integrated grid system voltage and current profiles are improved by using UPQC and an ANFIS (adaptive network-based fuzzy inference system) controller to assure sinusoidal quantities at the source. Components that adjust for reactive power are in phase with each other. In order to prevent harmonic power from being drained from the supply, UPQC supplies these harmonic power elements to non-linear loads. As a result, it regulates the load's harmonic power and zero sequence power, which results in imbalances in devices. The system's performance will be evaluated using MATLAB/SIMULINK tools.
