Air Traffic Data Analysis Using Seasonal ARIMA

Abstract

In this paper, Time series models are developed for air traffic data on Domestic Indigo flights. The analysis has been carried out using time series data on domestic Indigo flights passengers during January 2012 to December 2018. In order to make available a tool able to analyze the traffic flow monthly wise which helps Indigo to enhance their services.  All possible ARIMA models have been developed to the data and distinguished. Finally, the results, findings and analysis proved that the SARIMA (0,1,0)( 0, 1, 1 )  model is best for the data set. This sort of study is very helpful in forecasting the Air traffic.
