Abstract

In this paper, the effectiveness of elite training for professional football referees in the new era is analyzed by literature, questionnaire survey and interview. At present, the training system of Chinese Professional Football League referees has such problems in content and model including backward training methods, unclear training objectives, general certification standards and unsatisfactory training results. Although centralized training is still a common means to improve the professional ability of elite referees, it has been difficult to meet the requirements of the new era. With reference to the training mode of elite football referees in England, it is proposed to increase the number of centralized training in the middle of the season, standardize and institutionalize team training, strengthen the construction of a team of full-time instructors, continuously improve the level of instructors, improve online network training, strengthen international exchange, and gradually introduce technical assistance.
