Analysis and Countermeasures on the Employment Status of Graduates Majoring in Optometry

Abstract

With the rapid economic development this years, China is in a period of social transformation. Higher education has also changed from the "elite education" to the "mass education", and is gradually transiting to "universal education". In China, higher vocational education has gradually grown into an important way to cultivate talents, and students of higher vocational education have accounted for more than half of China’s higher education. It is of great value to cultivate higher vocational students' employability and improve their employment stability. This study mainly investigates the stability of optometry professional employment, and analyzes the status quo to improve employment stability.
