Performance Enhanced Control Method for First and Second Order Process with Time Delay

Abstract

This article put forward a performance enhanced control method for first and second order process with time delay. Conventional smith predictive controller is used for the time delay compensation but it can’t delay with the robustness and disturbance rejection. In this article it is put forward with the smith predictive controller with two degrees of freedom and the Non-Dimensional Tuning method and it is used to reduce the IAE, ISE, ITAE, TV and to have good disturbance rejection and robustness. This method is verified by theoretical calculations and compared with other tuning method and the results shows that the error has been reduced like IAE, ISE, ITAE,TV.
