Performance Analysis of Image Retrieval based on Content Using GLCM and Correlogram YCBCR Techniques

Abstract

This paper will focus on some specific features, particularly color/texture based features for general image searching applications. Features of single-textured images are extracted to construct a features vector by applying Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrices (GLCM) for each textured image. In addition, GLCM is extended to colored textures by introducing a Correlation Histogram (YCbCr). The experimented results are explained in details with comparative analysis with other techniques.
