Research on Innovation Diffusion Ability Evaluation of Knowledge-Intensive Business Services in China

Abstract

KIBS can not only improve the innovation ability of other industries, but also return to itself through knowledge spillover effect. This paper constructed the innovation diffusion matrix, analyzed the degree of association between different industries and the innovation diffusion ability from the aspects of the depth of industry connection, absolute innovation diffusion amount and unit innovation diffusion amount, and emphatically analyzed the performance of KIBS in innovation diffusion. The results showed that KIBS has strong innovation diffusion ability, but its driving effect on manufacturing industry and other industries is still limited. Based on the results above, some suggestions were put forward to promote the development of KIBS.
