Abstract

3D laser scanning technology is more and more widely used in the design of building facade, but due to the large amount of point cloud data and low processing efficiency, how to quickly and efficiently reconstruct and identify a large number of point cloud data has become the key to solve the problem. Building elevation is the basic data of facade lighting design, which directly affects the design accuracy and effect. Aiming at the problems of low efficiency and low reduction degree of traditional facade measurement, this paper puts forward a building elevation measurement scheme based on 3D laser scanning technology, and discusses the traverse 3D laser scanning and point cloud graphics drawing combined with practical cases. In the lighting design of building facade, the point cloud segmentation technology can separate the feature information in the elevation point cloud from the background point cloud, which provides an important technical support for the extraction and recognition of feature information. In this paper, a variety of point cloud segmentation algorithms are implemented by programming, and the segmentation accuracy and application range of different algorithms are analyzed in detail. Based on the point cloud segmentation algorithm, the experiment shows that the 3D scanning technology can provide accurate and detailed building elevation drawings for facade lighting design more conveniently and efficiently.
