A Space Efficient Clock Synchronization Protocol based on Bloom Clock
Abstract
Motivated by the crucial issue of clock synchronization in distributed real-time systems, this study proposes a space efficient protocol to balance the issue of absence of global clock in distributed systems. Synchronization is a very important aspect when it comes to execution of tasks with help of multiple machines under a distributed environment. Several existing synchronization algorithms provide efficient solutions but unable to fulfil the needs due to low accuracy and high cost have led to several pros and cons. In order to achieve accurate clock synchronization in sensor networks, the proposed paper studies significant parameters. We have used bloom clocks to implement the algorithm which provides synchronization in a space efficient manner moreover reducing the space results decrease in network traffic and delay-uncertainty hence increasing efficiency of the system. This study uses simulation analysis to prove the efficiency of the proposed protocol.
