Abstract

Urban service places are the boundaries of recognizing the spatial structure of social life and corresponding to people's daily life behavior. POI data of urban retail spatial hotspots reflect the spatial characteristics of urban social and economic activities. In this paper, the differences of the layout of supermarkets, shopping malls and convenience stores were compared by studying Shijiazhuang city using the AMAP data in combination with the spatial kernel density estimation method, and then the local Getis-OrdGi* index method was used to analyze the hot areas of retail industry. The results show that: (i) The large commercial centers of Shijiazhuang are mostly concentrated in urban areas, with the same grade and level of commercial development, and the rest of the commercial centers are scattered and independent. (ii) Small-scale commercial centers are closely established around the periphery of the downtown commercial centers, which are radiated by the central urban areas and have a better development form. (iii) The central business district is more attractive to the new retail industry, and the entry of the new retail industry makes it gradually form a high density retail hotspot in the adjacent streets. In this paper, the POI data is extended and applied in the practical research of man-land relationship in methodology, providing scientific reference for urban commercial space planning and regulation.
