Methods of Presentation of Aeronautical Information

Abstract

Progress in the development of computer technology makes it possible to solve an increasingly wide class of tasks using software systems, among such tasks is the task of automatic processing of aeronautical information. This makes it necessary to use new approaches to the design and development of such systems. One of these approaches is based on the application of the idea of collective activity of a set of agents - multi-agent technologies. In this regard, the purpose of the article is to consider the features of the implementation of automated processing of aeronautical information based on multi-agent technologies. To achieve this goal, a problem-structural methodology for the synthesis of hybrid systems was chosen, which allows creating self-organizing models, each element of which develops, receiving data and knowledge from other elements. In the course of the study, a formal definition of a multi-agent system for automatic processing of aeronautical information is presented, which includes many agents; the environment of agents' functioning; a set of permissible relationships between agents; a description of the rules for forming a network of agents; a set of individual and joint actions, communication interactions, behavioral strategies and actions; the possibility of system evolution. Also, detailed attention is paid to the description of each agent, for which the author suggests using four elements: a set of variables, inputs and outputs, an autonomous method that performs appropriate changes on a set of variables. It is proposed to use the following as agents: notification agent for pilots, agent of preflight newsletters, agent of data creation, agent of aviation processes, agent of aviation database formation, agent of aeronautical maps creation, agent of export/import of aeronautical data set, agent of publications and reference books. In addition, the article presents a schematic representation of a multi-agent system for automated processing of aeronautical information and describes in mathematical terms in detail the process of processing an application in an agent. The results obtained in the course of the study can be used to increase the effectiveness of the analytical component in the structure of the system for the formation of direct and reverse coordination links in the process of solving air navigation problems.
