Rotation Accuracy Analysis of High-speed Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Abstract

In order to study the rotational accuracy and its influencing factors of angular contact ball bearings at high speed, a dynamic analysis model of angular contact ball bearings is established based on the differential equation of motion by analysing the force and motion state of the internal. The model established in this paper was consistent with the simulation results of Gupta model under the two conditions, which verified the accuracy of the dynamic model. The analysis results show that the raceway curvature coefficient and the number of balls are positively correlated with the bearing rotation accuracy, and the rotational speed and radial clearance are negatively correlated with the bearing rotation accuracy. The bearing rotation accuracy decreases first and then increases with the augment of radial load. The simulation results in this paper have provided a theoretical basis that can be used to make and assemble high-speed angular contact ball bearings.
