Abstract

Arabinoxylans (AX), one of the amplestpolysaccharides of cereal grain cell walls, which mainly exsts in the endosperm and husk of grass seeds. They are non-starch polysaccharides with viscosity and water retention properties, which can be used as dietary fiber to give them high nutritional effects and have the effect of promoting health, which has a variety of physiological effects such as anti-oxidant, hypolipidemic, cholesterol-lowering, immunomodulatory. In this review, summarizes the extraction methods and functionalities of arabinoxylans in Tibetan barley. Looking forward to the increasing utilization of Tibetan barley bran, bringing economic income to social development.
