The Role of Foreign Investment in Free Economic Zones and Their Necessity for the Country's Development
Abstract
Modern FEZs are very diverse and heterogeneous, which greatly complicates their systematization and classification, for which various approaches are used in the economic literature.
One of the tasks of the study in the classification of SEZ is to highlight the general features of the SEZ, which make it possible to substantiate the approaches and principles of the management system and identify the features of management for each type of SEZ. In particular, N. Smorodinskaya, A. Kapustin propose to classify the FEZ on the basis of economic specialization. In accordance with this feature, the following are distinguished: free trade zones, industrial-production, technology-innovative, service and complex zones, which, in turn, are also subdivided according to more specific characteristics.
