Abstract

Traditional structures could not meet the new demand of structural sustainable earthquake resistance, whereas earthquake resilient structure is an useful way to meet this demand. The study of earthquakeresilient joint shear wall is an important part of the study of seismic elastic structure, whose earthquake resilient capacity is acquired by the replaceable coupling beam nowadays. The particularity of this kind of earthquake resilient coupled shear wall makes its connection to other structural component a special setup, and with the traditional solid joint of the shear wall and floor slab, the deformation of the replaceable device would be constrained as well as the damage would be occurred in slab. Based on the previous research, this paper proposes a special connection joint between the earthquake resilient coupled shear wall and the floor slab, and its seismic performance will be studied in depth. The load-carrying mechanism will be determined; the seismic performance of the connection device and the connection joint with different design parameters will be observed. The seismic design target of non-constraint replaceable device’s deformation and non-damaged slab will be realized, and the damage control capacity and the quick recovery ability of the shear wall structure will be actually achieved.
