Abstract

Flexibility, robustness and scalability make Multi UAV communicate network a hot research topic. Its necessary to evaluate and to validate the routing protocols which supports the Multi UAV communication network. For the flying adhoc networks the hardware test beds are costlier and so it is forced to limit by the experimental field. In the field of multi UAV network research, since the hardware test bed is more costly, software modeling and simulation technology shows its most important impact on multi UAV network research. OPNET, NS-2, NS-3, QualNet and OMNet++ are the existing popular network simulators. comparisons are performed in [3], [4], [5] and [6].OPNET modeler is the base simulation platform of multi UAV communication networks because of the following chararcteristics such as simulation efficiency,GUI,interfaces, visualization and library. FANET palys vital role in both military and civil applications. In spite of all these pros there are some unavoidable challenges and issues bonds around FANET.Since FANET possess the characteristics  of dynamic rapid changing mobility, the choice of Routing protocol in FANET also open wide space in the field of Research. In our  previous papers  the topology based Routing protocols are analysed under different network scenarios and described the best  performed one. It has been also found that the type OLSR is the better choice of FANET in terms of delay,Network load,Throughput and retransmission attempts. In this paper the performance of OLSR is again investigated and analysed under 6 different network scenarios.
