Abstract

In power supply systems, any deviation with reference to the sinusoidal waveform is taken into account to be a disruption of the PQ of the electrical grid. The deviation can modify one of the parameters i.e frequency, magnitude and symmetry among the phases. Microgride, as a locality of the electricity, must contribute to providing an adequate current waveform in the grid, also on ensuring similar voltage characteristics that the quality requirement given for distribution grids, in normal operating conditions in island mode. The adequate power quality is important for the good compatibility between all devices connected to an equivalent grid. In this article, the quality of the diet of the microgrid is managed at the use of a lion optimization algorithm methodology that regulates the capacity conversions of the micrograms to achieve the needs. The control algorithm is developed for the operating modes of the following microgrid: connected and interconnected from the grid. The results of the simulation demonstrate that the proposed methodology improves the transitional response to conventional methods all modes of work, thus minimizing harmonic content in the current, thus the voltage even with the presence of unbalanced and non-harmonic-phases.
