Waste of Higher Education Resources: A Review from the Perspective of Educational Ecology
Abstract
Over recent years, the waste of higher education resources has become increasingly severe. This waste indicates an inefficiency of higher education operation, an imbalance of the higher education ecosystem function, a decline in higher education ecosystem quality, and the dissolution of social credibility. This review is based on the perspective of educational ecology and establishes a systematic consensus on this intricate relationship. A strategy for higher education resource allocation, based on comprehensive development and interaction, can provide ecological ideas. These can be used as a reference to alleviate the waste of higher education resources and establish a more balanced higher education ecosystem.
