Energy-Aware Routing Protocol for Wireless Sensor Network: A Review
Abstract
The advancement of hardware technology has made it feasible to deploy mobile devices that are both lightweight and multifunctional in the real world. Small and low-power sensor devices have been used to create wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Both end node-to-end node communication and end node-to-base station MS communication occur in WSN. The most essential aspect of these networks' architectureisenergyefficiency, since the energy source in WS. isand non-replenishable. Energy-efficient routing algorithms are required to extend the life of networks. Using these methods, nodes will be organised into a hierarchyand will work together. Currently available energy-aware routing protocols don't take network performance and energy savings into account together, or they're not widely used. We've looked at some of the currently used techniquesandmade some suggestions for improvements based on ourfindings.
