Abstract

In recent years life in modern society is made easier by the rapid development of various technologies such as real-time analysis, wireless communication everywhere, intelligent sensors, machine learning and embedded systems. Today, these technologies need to be merged into the Internet of Things (IoT) to reach intelligent systems. The Internet of Things Security has become very important and will have a significant impact on the Internet of Things industry as it is used in many areas. Healthcare systems that use real-world data, data collection and device sharing can also be targeted cyberattacks. This is why cipher-based response measures are gaining importance at the moment. The importance of image protection in the health care data sharing is a challenge[1]. A lot of research has been done to provide security of medical images research. Encryption is the complete solution for image privacy without loss of data. Thus, patients may lose the confidentiality of their data which is in the images The images are different from the text for specific reasons for data loss and confidentiality. This paper discusses the importance of medical image steganography in IoT enabled healthcare systems  using modified DES encryption and decryption for providing the security to share patient health record over the internet.
