Experimental Examination of Notched Hsgc and Hsfrgc Beam

Abstract

This paper describes the experimental investigation of compressive strength results of geo-polymer ash-based geo-polymer concrete with normal concrete. And fracture properties like load v/s deflection by altering the dimensions of beam length by 0.6m to 1.4m and thickness by 150 mm to 350mm. From experimental results, it was noticed that higher compressive strength results for the mix GGBS 90 %+FA10 %. Fracture results like the load-bearing capacity got enhanced by adding fibre content to the mix. The peak load was observed by increasing notch depth and the addition of fibres.
