Enhancing Start-Up Intention of Private University Students in Vietnam
Abstract
Currently, the desire to start a business becomes important for talented, brave students who have the aspiration to own and enrich themselves, their families and the society. This study applies the mix research method including qualitative and quantitative. The data would be analyzed by Cronbach’s Alpha, EFA analysis and PATH model to examine the implementation of research model, identifying the start-up intentions of private university students in Vietnam. Eventually, this study proposes some feasible solutions for the leaders of private universities should focus on the start-up for students in the curriculum similar to the curricula being applied in countries with advanced education and developed economies such as the UK, the US, and France. So, students are equipped with the necessary amount of entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to really know the essentials for a good start-up as well as where and how to start a business.
