Abstract

Now a days there is a great demand for miniaturized, multiband and broadband antennas in the field of wireless   communications to serve Mobile, Satellite and Radar systems simultaneously .These antennas are supposed to exhibit multi band features with reasonable radiation parameters with high gain. Fractal antenna is the best candidate that meets the tradeoff between such performance characteristics with multiband and miniaturization concepts.  The fractal antenna uses fractal geometry concept which modifies the finite area of the antenna to an infinite perimeter. Furthermore the existing conventional fractal antennas have been modified to enhance its performance standards by superimposing one fractal structure with another.
