Abstract

In people's daily lives, lightning accidents have largely affected the safe and stable operation of
the power grid. In the actual situation, because of the low height of the distribution line and the
shielding, there are few direct lightning strikes and lightning damage accidents. On the contrary,
the accidents caused by induced lightning overvoltages are the majority. Voltage protection
focuses on the use of multiple lightning protection measures to ensure the stable operation of
distribution lines, thereby improving the economic benefits of power supply companies, while
reducing the economic losses caused by unstable power supply to users
