Abstract

In view of the problems existing in the teaching of "Water Pollution Control Engineering" in application-oriented universities, such as the abstraction of teaching content, the separation of classroom teaching and experimental teaching, the derailment of theoretical teaching and practical teaching, a TEP diversified teaching mode based on the organic combination of theoretical, experimental and practical teaching is put forward. Taking Chengdu Technological University as an example, the course of "Water Pollution Control Engineering" is reformed and explored to enhance the attractiveness of the course to students and stimulate the innovative thinking of students by reconstructing the curriculum system suitable for professional orientation, integrating classroom teaching with experimental teaching and seamlessly docking theory teaching with practical teaching.
